Main Spring Pilates and Wellness offers classically-based Pilates classes and personal training in a refreshing environment designed to inspire strength, focus and achievement of personal wellness goals. Pilates is a conditioning and strengthening program for both the body and the mind. The Pilates method was developed by Joseph Pilates during the WWI era, and was originally known as “controlology.” Pilates improves core strength, flexibility and balance by utilizing body weight resistance, props and specialized apparatuses that provide spring based resistance and support. Pilates is based on six key principles: control, center, concentration, precision, flow and breath. Pilates can benefit people of all ages and fitness levels, and the exercises are modified to accommodate individual needs. At Main Spring Pilates, we strive to help each individual feel empowered, supported and encouraged through personalized Pilates classes.
Pilates Classes
We specialize in personalized instruction that is tailored to help you achieve strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. We focus on your specific needs and goals, while consistently layering in challenges and variations to advance your practice. We will guide you through an array of full body exercises on a variety of sophisticated apparatuses, including the Pilates reformer, tower, chairs and ladder barrel. We encourage regular practice for each of our clients, and all sessions are scheduled by appointment based on mutual availability. We are located in Castignoli Court #4 just off of Cortez Blvd. in Spring Hill! We are and easily accessible to Citrus, Hernando and Pasco County residents. Meet Your Instructor
Cami Leech Florio is pleased to bring Main Spring Pilates and Wellness to Florida’s Nature Coast! Cami is a classically-based comprehensively certified Pilates instructor, Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, and Certified Personal Trainer. Cami discovered her love for Pilates ten years ago when she was on a mission to improve her posture. Much to her surprise, she found that Pilates enhanced her focus, helped her cope with stress, and made her feel strong – inside and out. She incorporated regular Pilates practice into her lifestyle, and it quickly became a passion. Cami's journey toward physical fitness started as youth, when she trained as a dancer. She still incorporates dance into her personal fitness routine, along with Pilates, high intensity interval training and swimming. Cami spent several years helping people build healthier lifestyles through her work as a fitness and nutrition accountability coach. She currently offers a variety of coaching services through her coaching practice Up Spring Coaching.
Cami and her husband Mike are both natives of the Tampa Bay area. Cami is a three-time graduate of the University of South Florida, and previously enjoyed a 20-year career in healthcare administration. Cami found that her greatest joy in leadership was derived from helping her colleagues find and develop their strengths through coaching and mentoring. Over time, she realized that the same attributes were a key part of Pilates instruction, and decided to pursue her dream of helping others feel strong and empowered through Pilates and wellness!
